The launch of the EU CAP Network took place on Thursday, 6 October 2022 in Brussels. The EU CAP Network will serve as a platform for knowledge and information exchange, for peer-to-peer learning, and for sharing experiences and good practices in the implementation of the CAP. It will bring under one single EU-level network current stakeholders covering innovation, implementation and evaluation, and also involve new ones.
 
The ninth meeting of the European Rural Networks’ Assembly enabled exchanges between participants on the latest developments on the CAP Reform, approval of Member States’ CAP Strategic Plans, and other relevant EU Policy initiatives, including a Long-term vision for EU's rural areas, Horizon Europe and the outcomes of the Rural Pact Conference.
 
The meeting also provided an update on planned and forthcoming rural networks’ activities and EU CAP network future governance.
